Itenerary
Day 1: Nairobi-
Aberdares
Pick up from your hotel at
0800 hrs – Passing through the industrial town of
Thika and the intensely cultivated farms of the
central Kenya. Lunch at the Out span hotel Nyeri
before transferring to the Treetops hotel. Dinner
and overnight stay at the Treetops hotel.
Day 2 : Aberdares – Sweetwater’s.
Breakfast then proceed to Mt. Kenya region and take
a full afternoon visit to Sweetwater’s game ranch.
Dinner and overnight stay at Sweetwater’s tented
camp.
Sweetwaters Game Reserve, a part of the
larger Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya, featuring
diverse plant life and a rich array of wildlife. The
area boasts the Big Five animals, numerous
endangered species such as rhinos and African wild
dogs, over 300 bird species .The site is also a
white and black Rhino sanctuary
Day
3: Sweetwaters – Lake Nakuru National park
Breakfast then depart the lodge for Lake Nakuru
National park arriving in good time for lunch at a
Lodge. Full afternoon game drives followed by dinner
and overnight stay at Flamingo Hill Camp .
Lake Nakuru
National Park features diverse habitats, from
grasslands and acacia forests to rocky cliffs and
marshes, supporting over 50
mammal species and 400 bird species, including
endangered Rothschild's giraffes and both black and
white rhinos.
The park is
most famous for its large flamingo populations
feeding on algae in the alkaline lake, but also
hosts predators like lions and leopards, grazers
such as zebras and waterbucks, and other animals
including hippos and various Monkeys are all
residents here.
Day 4 Lake Nakuru –
Masai Mara
Drive to via the Great Rift
Valley to arrive at Masai Mara in time for lunch at
Sopa lodge/Similer. Full afternoon game drive till
dusk.
Day 5 : Masai Mara
Full day spent exploring the park in search of the
big 5- Optional balloon safari can be arranged at an
extra cost of US$ 450 per person or a visit to Masai
village US$25 per person.Masai Mara National Reserve
features diverse landscapes, from rolling grasslands
and scattered acacia woodlands to riverine forests,
supporting a rich flora of grasses, wildflowers, and
trees. Its fauna includes the iconic "Big Five"
(lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhinoceros),
large herbivores like giraffes, hippos, and
crocodiles, and over 400 bird species. The reserve
is world-famous for the Great Migration
(July–October), where over 2 million wildebeest,
zebra, and gazelles migrate from the Serengeti to
find fresh pastures, crossing the perilous Mara
River
Day 6 : Masai Mara -Nairobi
Morning game drive then return to
Nairobi after breakfast, where the safari ends
